Hattfjelldal has magnificent nature, good ice fishing opportunities, scooter workshops, petrol filling and accommodation. The trail network in Hattfjelldal is connected to Grane by Storvassli and Vesterbukt (here there is also a connection to Vefsn). Towards Sweden there is a trail through Famnvassdal, a trail over Måsvatnet, a trail through skarmodal and a trail via Susendalskroken and to the border. Trail length about 320 km. Marking: Stakes and signs. There are convenience stores in the center of Hattfjelldal. Scooter parking in the immediate vicinity.

GRANE MUNICIPALITY
The trail network in Grane is connected to the trail network in Hattfjelldal by Storvassli and on to Vefsn municipality and over to Sweden. There is also a connection with the trail network in Namskogan by Smalvatnet which gives access to the trails in Namskogan and on to Røyrvik. Marking: Signs and bamboo sticks. There is a convenience store in Fiplingdal (Also has petrol filling from jugs) and several shops in Trofors village.

VEFSN MUNICIPALITY
Trails from Vefsn go from Herringdalen via Jamtfjelldalen and over Jamtfjellet to Vesterbukta in Hattfjelldal. From there, it’s connected to the trail network in Hattfjelldal municipality. Connection to the trail network in Grane go via Hattfjelldal. There is also a trail from Luktvatn to the top of the Korgfjellet mountain.
